Aug 2, 2019
By M.Turner

Testing is provided to ISO 20072 Aerosol drug delivery device design verification. Requirements and test methods.

Testing may be carried out at different temperature conditions and after various pre-treatments of temperature, shock of vibration.

Areas of interest are: flow rates, dose accuracy (emitted mass), stability over lifetime and leakage.

For this work we use a variety of validated equipment including Copley Scientific's DDUs and DUSAs (delivered dose uniformity apparatus and dosage unit sampling apparatus). Prior to commencing testing, the equipment and protocols are frequently qualified by using the test item in repeatability and reliability studies prior commencing the main testing protocol.

Get in touch with the MET team to discuss your inhaler, nebuliser or other aerosol projects.
